won Song of the Year at the 2012 ACM Awards. The song was co-written by Leigh Bryce and
Liz Rose. And Eli Young Band, they say not only was Crazy Girl a big hit for them, but
it absolutely did a lot for their career.
Crazy Girl kicked the door in for the Eli Young Band to be where we are now. And who's
to say if we hadn't cut that song where we'd be today?
Crazy Girl is a song that changed everything for us. It was the song that, man, there was
one year it was like the most played song in country music. It really put us on the
map in a very big way.
