the night falls, my Savior,
I'm reminded of our fight.
I recall, though, my Savior,
in the fading of the light,
Deep in the corners of my mind there,

Lying in wait
to catch me unaware.
When those lights fell, my Savior,
all our anger came alive,
And the fury, my Savior,
sent shivers down my spine.
We are too young to burn and die that way.
These are the prayers that I have today.
