It was a long process,
sort of training my voice to sing and speak in a clearer tone.
It's funny because I have the whole process documented.
I listen to very early voice notes of my lessons with Eric Vitro,
my vocal coach,
and I had so much rasp in my voice when I
was first singing the Glinda audition sides.
And then you cut to a month and a half later,
you hear like a shift in the muscles in my throat.
They just were like,
oh,
I understand what's happening.
So just like any other muscle in the body,
you have to train them to know what's being asked of them.
So I started doing that before even my first audition.
I had three auditions and going back from that,
I was going to Eric every day for like two and a half months
to try and get my voice together
so that I could sound legitimate or as close to as possible.
