In my orchestra, ladies and gentlemen, we have 15 nationalities.
The Gospels, they also come from all over the world, and yet we can make music together.
Isn't that fantastic?
Music is an international language.
Music doesn't need words.
I remember very well the very first time the Gospels came into my studio here in Maastricht
for the first rehearsal, and the two choirs, they saw each other.
Immediately they said,
Especially the women, of course.
But then, when they started to sing together, it was so beautiful.
It was as if they were singing their whole life together.
It gave me goosebumps.
I want to give you goosebumps, too.
Give them an enormous applause, the ladies of the Young Church Orchestra Choir.
