30 years ago,
I asked my
orchestra,
who plays the
bagpipe?
Nobody.
But then a young
girl came to me,
and I think you all know her,
because since the beginning
of the Yarnstrasse Orchestra,
she is sitting right behind me.
She plays the clarinet,
she sings,
she dances,
she drinks champagne,
and then,
she came to me,
and she said,
I don't know how to play the bagpipe,
but I want to learn it.
Do you believe it or not?
Within two weeks, she played!
And tonight, she's going to play a magnificent song,
Highland Cathedral.
