So that was Superpower, a fabulous song.
How do you feel about it, Joe?
It was good.
Did you like doing the video for it as well?
Nope.
You didn't like doing the video for it?
Nope.
Why not?
Us three weren't really in it that much.
Yeah,
but I had to put everything in my car because I've got an estate.
You had to drive and pick up that giant carnival head which,
oh that poor girl, she was stood
there with that on her head for like 30 minutes.
I was sat with it in my car for 30 minutes.
Well she was stood for 30 minutes and
she was in it for two seconds I think.
I think all the extras knew that,
that the whole point of it was there was going to be
loads of mad stuff happening but you only
ever got to see it for like a second.
So if
you did come to that video expecting a bit more limelight...
Sorry!
The second track on the album,
you again featuring Reverend and the Makers.
How do you feel about
it, Joe?
Other artists supply.
This is my favourite
one.
Your favourite tune on the album?
Ever.
Ever?
Lotta winners.
Obviously not like every
tune ever.
But yeah, I like it.
Is it because I don't sing on it?
Part of that.
No, it's
a good tune, innit?
Yeah.
I would like listen to this at home.
Oh, but none of the others?
No I would,
but this one in particular would go on first.
Yeah, I do agree with you.
I
think it's a fabulous song.
It's beautiful.
Our first ever radio hit written over WhatsApp
with our friend the Reverend John
McClure at about four in the morning.
He just sent
me the chorus and then I wrote the verse just
like immediately like an Eminem freestyle
and WhatsApp that to him and he was like,
what a tune! Do his voice Rob. What a, hey
what a tune Tom!
Keep doing his voice.
Tom that's a tune.
Let's pretend he's here actually.
Oh, we're going to be famous mate.
We're going to be rich.
John McClure is here.
So, John McClure, talk me through you again.
It's so good.
But when I sent you, I sent you some voice
messages you were doing.
I said, what dink of this?
And he said, aye, good.
And then
I wrote it.
Yeah.
And then it became a hit.
Radio 2. Radio 2. Played by Sarah Cox. Zoey
Ball.
And it's probably, it's a smasher isn't it?
It's one of my favourites as well, Joe.
I think that's a good shout there.
Thank you.
Love John, love working with him.
Want to
do a lot more of that in the future.
I think he's expressed some interest in doing some
production with us.
Don't tell Tristan.
Thank you.
Thank you.
Thank you.
I think so.
Thanks
John.
And he's my mate and he sends me his holiday pictures all the time.
He's just been
on holiday and he sent me loads of
holiday pictures and it's nice that.
It's nice.
I
don't think people share holiday pictures anymore.
Not in the same way.
Yeah.
Remember
that when you used to go out on a night out
and take a digital camera and you'd upload
316 pictures from your night out without even checking any of them.
Nevermind that.
There's
before that where you stood outside Max Bielman,
other photography places are.
Apply.
Apply.
You stood outside with just like a folder of loads of photos.
What, just showing people
walking past?
Yeah, there you go.
That's my.
Just in Leetown Centre.
That room, we're all
pink and really weird.
So should we listen to you again?
Let's.
This is you again featuring
I got you.
Didn't get you.
Mepheth and Co.
No.
Mepheth and Co.
You again.
You again.
How do you feel about it, Joe?
