from the 90s till now so much has happened um in hip-hop but also in my life
and that goes for everybody i mean it's kind of a a uh blanketed term but but it it says a lot
some people go through life and never change or things never change and and they hurt because of
it and with all the changes that that i've gone through and my family has gone through and all
my associates have gone through it's made us all better you know and i mean starting with starting
with me and i really just want to thank everybody who was involved from the very beginning i
mentioned all the names throughout the commentary um and i'm sure there are a few more names a
bunch of them
more names that i may have forgotten but you are all uh more than respected but thanked
in helping me become who i am today um you know we've all leaned back
and embraced family we ain't out there on the on the streets running from club to club and
you know some of us still gotta hustle but we have less priorities than we did in the beginning
and i believe that children or at least for those who have had them have helped us to
create that space my son was born in 2000 dakota and he was a mere
uh year
old almost to the day after this record had come out
but it's helped to carve his daddy and his mama to become the best that we can for him
