Living below in this old sinful world
Hardly a comfort can afford
Striving alone to face temptation sore
Where could I go but to the Lord?
Where could I go, where could I go?
Seeking a refuge for my soul
Needing a friend to help me in the end
Where could I go but to the Lord?
Neighbors are kind to me
I love them, everyone
We get along, sweet accord
But when I face the chilling hand of death
Where could I go but to the Lord?
Where could I go, where could I go?
Seeking a refuge for my soul
Needing a friend to help me in the end
Where could I go but to the Lord?
Where could I go, where could I go?
Seeking a refuge for my soul
Needing a friend to help me in the end
Where could I go but to the Lord?
Where could I go but to the Lord?
Could I go but to the Lord?
Thank you, Bonnie.
That was really fine.
As you all know, here at the San Quentin Garden Chapel,
you have really an outstanding choir.
Steve Pierce, the director, has worked very hard
to make this choir the fine musical organization that it is.
And today, the boys agreed to sing for us
a medley of their favorites.
Take over, Steve.
Hardly a comfort can afford
Striving alone to face temptation sore
Where could I go but to the Lord?
Where could I go, where could I go?
Seeking a refuge for my soul
Needing a friend to help me in the end
Where could I go but to the Lord?
Neighbors are kind to me
I love them, everyone
We get along, sweet accord
But when I face the chilling hand of death
Where could I go but to the Lord?
Where could I go, where could I go?
Seeking a refuge for my soul
Needing a friend to help me in the end
Where could I go but to the Lord?
Where could I go, where could I go?
Seeking a refuge for my soul
Needing a friend to help me in the end
Where could I go but to the Lord?
Where could I go but to the Lord?
Could I go but to the Lord?
Thank you, Bonnie.
