I feel very much like any other mom in that I have a lot on my plate, nothing's ever finished.
You finish one thing, you go to the next thing and finish that, and then by the time you turn around,
the other thing that you just did is undone. And so I deal with that all the time.
And I'm always feeling like I'm never good enough in any of the things that I do.
One of the things that I've learned so much, even more recently in my walk with the Lord,
is getting a perspective that I'm living all the time under what I like to call God's grace umbrella.
And that I don't always have to have the perfectly clean house,
and I don't always have to have all my husband's shirts ironed.
Those things are nice, but I have to keep pulling myself back to the reality that I am living under His grace.
And it's because I'm imperfect, and because I'm weak, and because I'm inadequate,
and because I can never keep up, that I need a Savior.
And I have someone in Jesus to lean on and to help me through the days where I feel like I can't get everything done.
